The Secret to Achieving Your Goals

Dear Success Seeker,

A lot has been written over the years about goal setting. What interests me far more is goal achieving! If you want to create a thriving business and great life, goal achieving will no doubt be of great interest to you as well.

Virtually every success-oriented person has goals they are working towards. Yet have you ever noticed that only a small percentage of people ever achieve the goals they set for themselves? As useful and important as goals are, they clearly don't guarantee success. What is the problem?

The first question to ask is whether any action is taking place. Lack of action is by far the most common reason self-employed business owners don't achieve their goals. In most cases the failure to follow through occurs because they are operating without any structure to keep them on track. This makes it easy for them to get distracted by more interesting activities or to procrastinate. Yet there are many people who do take massive amounts of action and still don't achieving their goals. Clearly a lack of action is just part of the problem.

Let's look to a different realm to discover what else is missing. Imagine for a moment that you are a high-performance athlete with a burning desire to earn a Gold Medal in your sport at the next Olympics. Imagine also that you have the resources and physical potential to achieve your dream. What would you do to maximize your chances of winning Gold?

First, you would probably find yourself a world-class coach; one who has the knowledge, skills and experience to coach you to success. You'd look for someone you trust and who totally believes in you and your potential.

And what is the first thing your new coach would do? Surely he or she would analyze your current performance and physical level then compare it with what would be required for you to win the Gold. Next your coach would develop a detailed plan for you that included all components of your training and conditioning, both physical and mental. With a comprensive plan in your hand the only thing standing between you and your best possible performance at the Olympics would be your diligent and rigorous implementation of your coach's "Plan for Performance".

This is how high-performance athletes actually operate. Renowned coach John Wooden, who coached the UCLA basketball team to a stunning ten NCAA National Championships wins in twelve years, said that he spent more time preparing for each practice session than his players actually spent on the court during the practice. However outside of the sports and athletic realm very few people ever take the time to create a detailed plan like this. In the world of self-employed small business owners this kind of planning is virtually non-existent. As a result, most self-employed people procrastinate. Even those who do get into action often fail to prioritize and waste their time on activities that are not the best use of their time.

One of the objectives of the ProCoach System is to ensure that our members prioritize their actions and follow through with their commitments. We have them create a strategic plan every quarter and an action plan every week. Generally they have a very high completion rate, however recently we notice that some members were struggling with larger projects. In come cases they were getting overwhelmed and grinding to a halt. Others were failing to complete their projects within their desired timelines.

To eliminate this problem we created a very simple but powerful project management template that makes it easy to complete projects on time. It is especially effective for large projects with a time-frame from two to twelve months. The impact was immediate. Our members massively increased their success rate and experienced a significant increase in momentum as a result.

The Plan for Performance, as we call it, is one of the content lessons our members pay for and has a value of $197. However we are committed to assist self-employed people world-wide to create businesses that thrive. The Plan for Performance is so incredibly effective that we have decided to gift it to you, our newsletter subscribers. So help yourself and enjoy. You can download the Plan for Performance at

If you don't want to use our template that's fine. You still need to do some work if you want to increase your effectiveness and success rate with larger projects. Take the approach an Olympic coach would use. Write down all the steps and actions that will be required to achieve your goal. Separate the steps into categories, set a timeline to each and then establish a tracking system that will ensure each step gets completed on time. When you take this approach you will be surprised to see that it is not just possible, it is easy to compete major projects within the time frame you planned.
